City league seeks input on Jordan Lake watershed rules

A lobbying group for the state’s cities and towns is polling its members about whether they’d like the 2013 General Assembly to repeal, modify or retain intact a set of anti-pollution rules for the Jordan Lake watershed.

Construction on a luxury apartment development by Hawthorne Residential Partners on Bridford Parkway in Greensboro is well under way, with plans to welcome the first tenants as early as next month. KMW Builders to break ground on Greensboro rental development

KMW Builders is expected to begin construction in December on a $6.5 million, 48-unit affordable apartment community in Greensboro called the Terrace at Rocky Knoll. The site is located Rocky Knoll Road between Randleman Road and Red Chief Street. Patrick Theismann, vice president of Beacon Management, which is developing the project, confirmed that KMW Builders is the contractor and that the development's first units should be available by December 2013.
