Greensboro car lot proposal draws residents' ire, planners' support

A proposal to bring a car lot to the corner of Holden Road and Ashland Street near West Wendover Avenue in Greensboro has received the support of city planners, the News & Record reports. The property is zoned commercial, but residents say the owner of the land agreed five years ago to not place a car lot on the site.
